Radio in Lyman

Stations pinned where you would find them on the dial. Marker height tracks transmitter power. A station appears here because its signal reaches this place — not because it is licensed to this town.

Plays each in turn and moves on automatically if one does not respond. Skip advances early.

Reach method: nominal class radius — a coarse stand-in. Swap in the FCC contour polygons and this page gets materially more honest.

These transmit close enough to be worth naming and do not reach this place under the current model.

Where the transmitters are

Bearing and distance from Lyman. Ring spacing is square-root scaled, so close and distant signals both stay readable. Point a directional antenna at the bearing, not at the city.

Licensed here, heard elsewhere

City of license is a legal fact, not a coverage claim. KNIV (77 km out) hold licences to Lyman but transmit too far out to reach it under this model — which is exactly why this site files stations by where they land, not by where the paperwork says they belong.
